The arts

It has been some interesting weeks since I wrote last. The political forum is just as screwed up as usual. Wiener is still holding onto his wiener. You would think as much as he liked to flash it around that he wouldn't be so attached to it. It isn't like we haven't had sexual scandals in the White House or in the halls of Congress. Where there is an abundance of testosterone and over inflated egos you will have people tripping on their willies. Why, who knows? It seems the Kennedys were the first family that almost flaunted the sexual escapades but at least it was semi covered up. Maybe what we need is more blankets. Or is everyone  trying to compete with Bill Clinton?  The man is a pro, leave him alone.
My son purchased me a new computer monitor. He told me he bought it for his fathers birthday for me. I like it a lot and it is so nice to be able to see more of an item without doing all that scrolling up and down. Thank you sweetie.
I have made a bunch of pillows for our living room so it would look cozier. The dog loves them but hates the furniture we bought which works out great. She stares at the pillows and won't jump up on the furniture. A dream come true. Considering she practically ate all the old furniture when she was a pup. Horrid puppy!

I decided to take a couple on line art classes. I am taking a face painting class from "All Norah's Art" and another mixed medium class from Tam at Willowing. I love both their art styles and I have nothing better to do so I am going to be busy for a while. I am taking a break from sewing even thought I have other stuff I want to make. I really enjoy sewing and painting. My two favorite things. I even have some pictures to show.
I made the really bright tote and my daughter snagged it. I really like the blue donkey on the fabric. The little dress I made for my great grand daughter. She is 18 months old and is adorable! and this is one photo of some of the pillows I made. I even french seamed them. They turned out nice.
