The Twisted Skein

Yep, I can knit. I have decided to take on something other than another scarf. I bought some pretty durable yarn and decided to make a hoodie. Unbeknown to me that hoodie with alot of holes that one doesn't knit is trying my patience. Instead of knitting something of solid I seem to be knitting an awful lot of holes. I have holes traveling in every direction but fortunately they seem to make a pattern. I think that is the point of it all. Needless to say knitting seems to be one stitch forward and two stitches back. Iwill succeed if I have to eat the yarn!
I haven't tackled any new mixed media art in a few weeks but seem to be heading in that direction again. I feel the need to glue some paper together and create some cards. Ah the joy of it all.
My grand daughter came to play with me for the week. She is so artistic that at times I could just smooch her. I just love her talents. What a jewel she is.
It is late and I need to get some sleep so I can finish this hoodie thing.
A picture of Molly the stray cat that visited for 4 days. She was a sweety and then left me with a bag of uneaten cat food.
The purple thing is part of a play ground that is near my house. I love the colors of the equipment. It wasn't this way when I was young.
Until next time.

  1. Maybe the cat's owners came home so home he went. I hope so.

Not quite sure what a hoodie is. I'm thinking it's a sweatshirt. Hope it turns out well in the end. Cool weather ought to be coming soon. That's when I feel like knitting but of course, that's when the knitted things should already be done so they can be worn!
